With this ad the customer supplied the text. I used a red colour scheme; it's bold and vibrant.
I used a red banner across the middle to advertise that new customers are welcome because I felt that was relevant. I used a line drawing of a sleeve tattoo in the background which I found on Google images. I used another red banner for the number as that's one of the most important things to advertise... I used InDesign to create this; Photoshop to convert the image to CMYK.
